Sodastream Giveaway (Get busy with the fizzy!)

I was recently VERY lucky to be given the opportunity to receive and review The Soda Stream Fountain Jet soda making machine! I was out of town at my mother's, and James called saying we had received an enormous box via ups. Since he's one of my Guinea Pigs here at Simple Abundance, I had him open it and set it up immediately. I was amazed at how generous the company was, they sent us a full size of every flavor, Sparkling waters, Trial packs, and enough syrups to fill an entire cabinet. By the time I got back for the weekend, he had tried several of the flavors and was in love with the machine. Sodastream sent us an unexpected EXTRA machine the next day. I LOVE soda…. but the kind I like to drink tends to be on the expensive side. I prefer natural sodas, and also like unusual flavors. James drinks mostly energy drinks. The brands we like to drink tend to run from $1-5 a can/bottle! SodaStream provides a great option for making gourmet soda, sparkling water, and energy drinks at home at a fraction of the cost of store bought gourmet soda. Aside from being very cost effective, SodaStream is also AMAZINGLY easy to use! The process is so simple! Once the soda machine is assembled the first time, you just screw your bottle full of cold tap or bottled water into the front of the machine. Depress the carbonating button in short bursts until the machine makes a loud squawking noise (it is a one of a kind noise, it made me jump) three times. Your water is then carbonated and ready to flavor. Next, measure your syrup, and gently pour into your water. Screw on the lid and gently mix. Voila, you have soda!!!! Before I mentioned I love gourmet soda flavors… SodaStream carries a great line of mixes that totally fit my tastes, the Sparkling Naturals. “Made from all-natural ingredients, new SodaStream Sparkling Naturals make great-tasting “better for you” sodas. Sparkling Naturals contain no artificial flavors, no artificial colors and no artificial sweeteners, and do not contain any preservatives, making them a perfect, sparkling, natural soda alternative for the entire family. Each 750ml bottle of Sparkling Natural concentrate will make 6 liters (approximately 25 z servings) of all-natural soda.” If you prefer plain ol’ soda flavors they have those too…. in fact there are over 50 flavors currently available! We have been drinking outrageous amounts of soda since receiving our machine, I think we are full fledged SodaStream addicts. I'm very partial to Cranberry-Pear, But, at the end of the day I still get to feel great about the fact that we are saving money, are drinking good quality natural sodas, and are reducing our carbon footprint by eliminating all of the soda bottles and cans. The machine itself requires no electricity, and runs off a simple co2 cartridge, which you can exchange at Staples for $16.00 for a full one, or you can buy a new one at Wal-mart for $30.00 (I strongly endorse recycling your co2 bottles)
